Job Description
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the IT market within the US government sector, covering market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences, evolving technology landscape
  • Monitor and evaluate federal government procurement opportunities related to IT/Digital products and services
  • Research and analyze information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and identify trends/opportunities and develop strategic direction
  • Conduct research, analysis and delivery of high-quality and timely responses for public-sector opportunities and initiatives
  • Update and track progress on previously identified/ potential business opportunities
  • Synthesize research findings and analysis in structured online written and oral formats
  • Collaborate with teams to define key research objectives and deliverables, coordinating with Business Development counterparts as needed
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on market research findings, emphasizing actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns based on informed market intelligence
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies pertinent to the Government IT market landscape
  • Collaborate closely with business development, sales, and technical teams to understand client requirements and develop winning strategies for opportunities
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience (3-4+ years) as a Market Research Analyst specializing in IT, with exposure to the US government sector considered advantageous
  • Strong comprehension of procurement processes and contracting mechanisms
  • Strong research and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical professionals
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail
